Minnesota Vikings Washington Redskins Game Review

By Vikings Tickets

The Minnesota - Washington game was the debut of interim coach, Leslie Frazier. Frazier's sole purpose as interim coach is to calm the waters in Minnesota and get the team back on a winning track. With Adrian Peterson out with an injured ankle, Frazier's plan to simplify the offense appeared to have holes. Despite the setbacks, Frazier was able to lead the Minnesota Vikings to a 17-13 win. The Minnesota Vikings players really seemed to step up and play a relatively strong game.

Quarterback Brett Favre didn't have any explosive plays, but maybe more importantly didn't have any interceptions during the Vikings Redskins game. This is an improvement after turning the ball over 4 times in the past two games.

After the win, Frazier was given the game ball for getting his first win as a head coach. In a season that has left much to be desired, the win over the Redskins seems to be a beacon of hope in the Minnesota Vikings season.
